You are bidding on a RARE Aerosmith Pure Gold From Rock and Roll's Golden Boys Promo Box Set with three LP’s: Aerosmith, Get Your Wings, and Toys In The Attic.

According to sources, the box set was only given to radio stations in 1976 as a gift from the band. The back of each LP cover is stamped with “Demonstration Not for Sale” (see pictures for more detail).

The LPs look they were never played and the album covers are NEAR MINT. Seriously, they look like they were never taken out of the box. The open sides of the album covers show some minor wear, likely from storage and movement in the box. It’s minor, but it’s present. The LPs are very clean with no wear. The inside jackets of two of the LPs are wrinkled, likely from storage and movement.

The box appears to be gold foil and is marked A3S-187 Columbia. The box has NO MARKS, TEARS, OR RIPS. Since it’s likely gold foil, like all gold foil, there is some surface wear. They’re not necessarily scratches, but you can see some minor wear in the foil. You have to tilt the box in the light to see them, but they’re present. Also, next to the word “From” there is what appears to be a small smear mark from the “M” to the right. All that said, the box is in amazing shape with very minor imperfections, likely all from storage.

Sources say there was a thank you letter included in the box set but this set does not have one. I could not locate one online, so cannot confirm if the box set did come with a letter.
