A Hank Williams 78 RPM Record that was signed at the New River Ranch on Sunday, July 29, 1951. Signed in pencil. Legible, but slightly faded.

This authentic piece comes with a colorful, 4 page letter of authenticity from the lady who obtained this in 1951. She talks about the suit he was wearing, the car she and her husband drove. How she bought the record there, how it got cracked, learning about the concert from the radio, her conversation with Hank and many other details.

Condition: Cracked and taped together. Well played. Dinged and scratched up. Pencil signature is faded, but very legible.

I could have cleaned this record up and carefully glued it, but I found the story of the breakage interesting, so I left it as is! This would be great framed with the letter.

I am also sending copies of two local newspapers that ran the ad for Hanks show.

This should go to a real fan. This lady LOVED Hank and played the heck out of his 78's.

If this looks too rough, I would suggest buying a reprinted photo of Hank to put on your wall. There must be millions of them out there, but authentic autographed 78's with a great letter? Probably quite scarce.
