Thanks for bidding! I’m finally selling my favorite and best parts of my record collection that was well over 3000 records at one point. These came from scouring NYC’s Bleeker Bob’s, Venus Records, St. Mark’s Sounds, and The Princeton Record Exchange for the most part. I haven’t had a turntable in years now and they deserve to be in active collections. These were the best of the best and often these were the ones up on the wall with the big ticket…
Grading: When I did play records, I took as best care with them as possible. I used a high end turntable with a gorgeous cartridge. I too am a collector. I didn’t collect it if it was marked up, or had somebody’s name in it. All that said, I am by no means a “Goldmine” collector/grader of things. I will say in the auction if there is a scratch or known problem. Otherwise, I’ll do my best to grade things. Please look at the pictures. If you need more information, I will go back a re-inspect something.
Shipping: I’ll ship anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense. Yes, I’ll combine auctions so you don’t have to pay for full shipping on multiple items. The auctions should be set up for media mail. If you want Priority, I will do Priority. Everybody gets tracking, and if it is a highly collectible piece, signature may be required. I still live in New York City, and you can come pick things up in person if you want to skip the shipping cost.
Packing: I am using the new “Bags Unlimited” record mailers. These are sturdy, and an extra inch long on two sides to prevent bumped corners. They are nice! I take the records out of the sleeves so they don’t cut through. If it is a super rare item, I will add an extra layer of plastic to protect it from moisture.
Payment: Payment is expected by paypal within 3 days of the auction close. I’ll do my best to have your record(s) in the mail within 5 days of payment received. I am beating that time but… just in case.
Finally: Please email me with any questions prior to bidding. I want you to be happy. Please see my other auctions too! A last note too, if you see something without bids, and want me to end it early, just send a note and we can work out a buy it now. Thanks.
