THE VINYL :  All four LP surfaces retain much of their original gloss, with some  spindlewear evident on the labels.   Present on those surfaces are some light marks, including sleevewear and hairlines. The mono audio quality is quite good.

Side 1 :   EX

Side 3 :   VG   In the final seconds on the last track (C-6), the needle sticks on a pair of crossing marks. Otherwise, Side 3 plays at VG+ up to that point.

THE COVER :   EX :  Gatefold with Henri Matisse cover art on the front / some front and back cover scuffing / no ringwear  / all of the seams are intact / other than Ella's autograph, and a signature on the back cover (please see photo) there is no writing, paper loss, dirt or stains / the pages of the booklet are securely attached to the spine, and no pages are missing.

Included are both of the original paper inner sleeves (please see photos).
 
We have placed both the cover and the LP into protective plastic sleeves.


About the Personalized Autograph :   Ella's autograph appears on the first page of the original 11-page booklet that is attached to the spine inside this gatefold cover (pictured in the 2nd photo). It reads "Bill Stewart   XX  Ella" (please see photo).

Bill Stewart (whose autograph appears in the 1st photo) was an Advertising / Marketing Executive located in Hollywood, California, and worked during the latter part of the 1900's. Bill incorporated recorded music into much of his work, and invented many successful advertising campaigns (Denny's iconic "Grand Slam Breakfast" slogan is one of his).
