isnw_ecBen Dover, Inc. does it yet again...original, press private label platter by MICHAEL SHIPP titled "I Quit" b/w "Split Pea Soup" & "Cadillac Boogie" on PIRATE 103070 from 1970.  A 7" 45rpm, disc and labels are in M- condition.  Three groovy instros, very heavy on drums.  Shipp was the drummer on Kennelmus album, big long solo on the "I Quit" track, while flip side has a Santana like groove and more drum solos.  The label says Houston, TX. but actually recorded in Phoenix, AZ.  Produced by Ken "Kennelmus" Walker. There is a sound clips posted on U Tube of "I Quit" if you are not familiar with this HTF Arizona Garage/Surf/Beats/Boogie record.  This is a Mint out of the box copy, never played.   See scan.  Original white paper sleeve included.  Free postage! This is a 45 rpm record.
