Certainly never has been reproduced, possibly even still sealed. It should be used sparingly as a condition, if used at all.Near Mint, almost new (NM or M-)A nearly perfect record. Many traders are not going to give a rating higher than this, implying (perhaps rightly), there is never a truly perfect disk. The disk must not show signs of wear. A 45 RPM or a cover EP should not be longer than most slight defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. A LP cover should not have wrinkles, folds, recesses seam or other notable similar defects. There should be no holes neither. And, of course, the same should be true for any other content, such as posters, covers, booklets of letters and the like. Basically, an LP in almost new condition must appear as if it had just bring home a record store and only the wrapper removed. Almost new is the highest price that appears on all Goldmine price guides. Anything exceeding this condition, in the opinion of the buyer and the seller, is worth much more than the highest value of Goldmine books.

Very Good Plus, rather than very good condition (VG +)In general it is worth 50% of the value of nearly new. A VG disc + will show some signs that has reproduced but on the other hand will be evident that a previous owner took good care of it. The surface of the disc may show some signs of wear and may have minor scratches or light scratches that do not affect the listener's own experiences. Slight deformations which do not affect the sound are accepted. The label may have some wear, ring or discoloration, but should be barely perceptible. The central hole not be must have deformed by repeated playback. Picture envelopes and Interior LP envelopes will have slight wear, slightly notable corners, or a slight fracture. LP cover may also have slight signs of wear and may be disfigured by a hole, notch or a corner that indicates that it was taken out of print and sold at a discount. In general, if it weren't for a couple of things that are wrong with it, it would be nearly flawless. All collectors, with the exception of the collectors of almost new disks, will find a VG disc + highly acceptable.Very Good, very good condition (VG)In general it is worth 25% of the value of nearly new. Many of the defects found in a register VG + will be more pronounced in a VG disc Surface noise will be evident when playing, especially in soft passages and during the intro and the fading of a song, but will not dominate the music in a different way. Groove wear begins to be noticeable, as with scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) light that will affect the sound. Labels may be distorted by a writing, or you can have ribbons or stickers (or residues thereof) supplied. The same can be said envelope image or cover of the LP. However, it will not have all these problems at the same time, only two or three of them. Goldmine prices with more than one price guides, show VG as the lowest price.
