The Rolling Stones Collection is a numbered box set of vinyl LPs originally released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) in October 1984. This set is #5143. Only 10,000 sets were pressed. I purchased this set brand new, sealed, and never played the records.
This "Limited Edition Library of Original Master Recordings" was transferred directly from the original 1963 to 1969 master recording tapes. It is housed in a hinged wooden box with brass clasp, includes a soft cover booklet that reproduces The Rolling Stones original album cover graphics, front and back [including the legendary 3-D 'Satanic Majesties' cover], a Geo-Disc cartridge alignment platter, a color, four page folded leaflet with band photo and information about the Collection and a numbered certificate of authenticity. The LPs are in the original MFSL protective inner sleeves, the jackets are glossy red with black lettering.
Mobile Fidelity's 'Rolling Stones - The Collection' box set is arguably the greatest sounding release of the Rolling Stones albums ever; considerably better than the standard LP or CD releases. All 11 albums in this box set were mastered at half speed from the original master tapes, and pressed by JVC Japan onto pure 180 gram high definition super vinyl, which has an extraordinarily quiet playing surface, extreme durability and a lifespan many times exceeding conventional pressings.

Records are in mint condition. NEVER PLAYED. All record labels are perfect. LP Outer jackets are in good condition. Some show tears on the edge as in the photo.The booklet is in almost but not quite mint condition - solid crisp & nice. GEO Disc and paper sleeve are intact but not quite perfect.
The box is NOT IN MINT OR NEAR MINT condition.
The box is not horrible but it does have issues.
The box has indents and scratches on the red rolling stones logos and corners. The brass clasp does has scratches. PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PICS CAREFULLY. This is a beautiful, highly collectable set.
