Grand Funk Railroads 2nd album known as the red album 1969 authentic Capital Records UK EXTREMELY RARE first pressing H/4 H/4 and Mothers 1G/ 1R!!!! With rare laminated record cover, very few of these exists as the initial pressing was a small quantity first run.
There was a time when this band was the biggest band on the planet and it was because of this record that they were...This is one of the best hard rock records ever made! Check out “Inside Looking Out” or “Paranoid” and you’ll hear what I am talking/typing about.
Anyone who witnessed this band live in 1970 in particular knows just how great they were live in concert….They were the first band since The Beatles to play Shea Stadium, that's just how big they were….Led Zeppelin refused to be on the same bill with them, after playing with them on the same bill. The first time I saw them in April of 1970 my ears were ringing for four days.
The record grades a modest Excellent there are some marks nothing serious or that impedes the  performance of this awesome sounding British first pressing!
This rare Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. laminated record cover grades a modest Excellent or better (see scans).
Comes with the original printed EMI inner sleeve (see scans).
I've been collecting records for over 55 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
