Original vinyl 7" of The Smiths' first single, Hand in Glove. This has the Manchester address on the rear of the cover, with words by Morrissey and music by Johnny Marr. On Rough Trade, catalogue RT 131. The centre grooves have A Porky Prime Cut / Kiss My Shades / Kiss My Shades Too etched in.
Cover is in excellent condition, I can't believe I kept it so well. I have played the record a lot, so it does have some slight crackling at the start of the A side, but there are no visible scratches and no jumps or major distortion. It's in very good condition for its age and given that it belonged to a teenage girl at the time!
