Heaven Sent "Sho-Nuf Funky Beat" b/w "I See Heaven" 45, released 1980 on Jamieko's (JA-226)
Rare early 80s funk released out of Oakland, California.
I grade this copy as G, mainly for cosmetic reasons. The vinyl is heat damaged, and thus has an odd-looking texture under light and plays with some background noise that is most noticeable in the lead-ins and fade-outs. During play on both sides, I notice some slight side-to-side movement in my cartridge and tone-arm during the first few seconds of the songs, but they still tracked OK overall. Despite the heat damage on the vinyl, both sides sound surprisingly decent. The very beginning of the "I See Heaven" side has what I think is just a pop - although it could be a skip.
