Mega Rare LP of Cannonball Adderley - Quintet in Chicago (Mercury MG-20449 - mono)  Original black label edition - NOT a current re-issue.   Arguably Cannonball's best LP also features John Coltrane, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers and Jimmy Cobb - everybody from Mile's Davis' group except Miles himself.  Truly an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.

The LP is in VG+ condition with some marks that will make some noise and with most if not all of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but certainly not trashed either - still, you will hear some noise on this one.  The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear and a bit of staining on the back liner.  NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps.  Not perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore?
