This auction is for a hard to find stereo LP titled "The Sound of Speed" on the Dot Records label, DLP 25123. This is an orchestral suite with actual vehicle sounds composed by Bob Thompson and performed by the Orchestra del Concerti di Roma with Paul Baron conducting. Vehicle sounds include sports car, diesel train, streetcar, helicopter, speed boats, ocean liner, motor scooter, tricycle, subway train, jet plane and horse and buggy. The vinyl has been visually graded at Near Mint and the colorful cover is in excellent condition with the original paper sleeve intact.
