*PLEASE READ THIS LISTING TO THE END TO LEARN ABOUT MY LP COLLECTION & UNDERSTAND MY QUALITY AND GRADING METHODS*
Here is an Original 1980 '1st Pressing' of the Pat Benatar - "Crimes Of Passion" LP.  Chrysalis Catalog #CHE 1275.  This entire LP Package, (Cover, Sleeve & Vinyl LP) is in Excellent Condition. Not only is this a "1st Pressing LP", it also has a "RARE & UNIQUE 1st Pressing Label Printing Error", leaving the labels Black & White instead of Blue & White. The labels were printed with the black titles, identifiers, credits & Pat Benatar's Image but they forgot to add the blue ink which should have gradiently shaded the label and added the white Chrysalis logo and butterfly image to the lower half of the label. This error was corrected partly through the 1st pressing run so only a limited number got out but no one really knows how many.
The following is part of a review from the Discogs Website regarding the label error.  "Despite what many believe, this is not a white label promo. This was an error made at one of the pressing plants where they forgot to add the blue ink when the labels were printed. This error exists only on some first pressings before it was corrected".   The Cover of this LP is still wrapped in cellophane (the cellophane has a few small tears) but has the Original Hype Sticker as well as the Original Wal-Mart bar-coded price tag. The Cover is VG+ to EX Conditon.   The Inner Sleeve is the original clear vinyl sleeve with the blue Chrysalis Logo & Butterfly. It is still very smooth & flat with a small fold on one corner but is split 2/3rds of the way down on the right side. Inner Sleeve is Good Condition.   The LP is very clean and shiny with all it's original luster but if you look at it just right in the light you can see a few barely visible superficial surface scuffs, plus side 2 track 1 has a very minute, barely visible surface scratch (please see the next section for how this affects the audio quality).  The LP is VG+ to "EX (or better)"  ☊ The Audio Test revealed only occasional, very light surface noise (crackle), mostly in the lead-in and dead time The minute scuffs and side 2 scratch are Not Audible at all. The audio quality is very crisp and clean. This LP has been played several times so you may hear a very occasional tick or click. No loud pops or tracking / skipping problems.  Again, This LP is in VG+ to "EX (or better)" Condition.    The Audio Test was performed on a Technics SL-J33 Programmable Linear Tracking Turntable !

Since my local computer shop closed last year, I am selling many Vintage, New & NOS Computer parts, various other items, *as well as many of my own personal collectible items* to help out financially. As a result, most items I post on ebay are what I consider 'reasonably priced' to prompt a quick sale, although I must also consider the condition of vintage collectibles when estimating my prices.   Please look closely at all the photo's and ask any questions, I will promptly reply.

*Please Read This Information About My LP Collection*:  All Records (LP's) that I sell are from my own personal collection so I know their full history. Over 95% of the LP's I purchased were opened and immediately recorded to cassette tape, then the LP was safely and securely stored to preserve it's quality. On rare occasions, a tape would fail so I would need to play an LP again to re-record it. That is 'usually' the only time an LP would be played more than once. Even in the Very Good / Very Good+ to Excellent Condition that describes most of my LP's, there are exceptions.  They have been stored a long time and have made several cross country moves with me so there may me some minor flaws (or worse). I try to be as accurate as possible to describe them including the Cover, Inner Sleeve & Vinyl LP, and grade them according to 'GoldMine' Standards. I also include Any & All Matrix / Run-Out Stamp or Etching Information, (Numbers, Letters & Symbols, etc) in order to better identify their Exact Origin (US or Foreign), Pressing Dates and Locations, Original, 1st Pressing or Re-Issue's or any other special notations of importance. Finally, since my LP's have "Been Around" the country, moving with me, I've added one more service. Just from the Vinyl LP sliding around in it's sleeve or jacket, paper dust can accumulate in the grooves and affect playback quality, therefore, I gently but thoroughly clean each LP I sell in a Customized Spin Clean system using a residue free anti-static solution, allow them to completely air dry (no towel drying), then place the LP in a New, Clear, Synthetic, Anti-Static Protective Sleeve. Any original sleeves, (photo, printed or just plain) will still be included inside the cover to keep the LP package complete. I also 'Spot Audio Test' each LP for surface noise, especially between tracks where it's most noticeable. If there are small surface scuffs or scratches I will play completely through them and describe any effects they have on the audio quality. This may all seem like a lot of work but I want my buyers to be fully informed and feel confident they are getting a high quality item for their money.
