APOCALYPSE Same (Ariola Ger 1970) Original First Press.
The aptly named Apocalpse arose out of the ashes of Kannibal Komix,
otherwise known as Die Anderen, who produced a decent psych pop LP in 1968. Since that LP they had become weirder, heavier and much
more groove
orientated, though retaining the pop suss they displayed on their previous LP with some killer tunes and hooks. This LP was also produced by knob-twiddling genius Giorgio
Moroder, a sure fire guarantee of studio invention. They had also
considerably increased the psychedelic quotient, with effects, sitars
and general weirdness oozing out of the grooves,
as well as some fuzzed out heaviness too. A great LP and quite unsung
still in my opinion.
Grading
Vinyl: VG+ light surface marks under bright light, plays just about perfect.
Sleeve: VG+ not bad with some general wear to edges/corners and little damage in middle of the spine.
Grading
M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.
EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound
VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.
VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
