For Auction: An original mono copy of The Beatles (White Album), a double LP from 1968. Its catalogue number is PMC7067 & 68, with runout numbers XEX709-2 GRG, XEX710-1 GGT, XEX711-3 GGH, XEX712-1 GGM. Its individual sleeve number is 0129748. No poster or photos are included. NB Both the vinyl and the cover are in poor condition, so record will probably be of interest only to collectors for its low sleeve number, or as a filler.
Vinyl Condition: Poor. There is much surface wear, scuffing and multiple hairline scratches. I have just played it through completely, and there is crackling and some clicks. It jumps on four tracks i.e. “Martha My Dear”, “Birthday”, “Sexy Sadie”, and “Cry Baby Cry. There is a name written in marker on labels 1 & 3.
Cover Condition: Poor: The top loading, flip back, laminated gatefold sleeve shows age and handling wear, with staining and age discolouration. The spine on the outside is 75% detached and the white inners are creased and ripped up the seams. Please see photos for full idea of condition before bidding.
