Mastersystem - a project featuring members of Frightened Rabbit, Minor Victories, and Editors debut album was a grunge-laden collection of adult angst. Old Team has a cheeky reference to Scottish 'young teams' - street gangs formed via area code. Mogwai titled their debut album Young Team so the Glasgow crew are the perfect choice for remix partners, turning in a glacial, spacious re-working. Soaked in electronics, Scott Hutchison's is pushed to haunting new levels, with Mogwai subtly inverting the song to provide additional nuance.
