Bluegrass quite simple at it's best. Little know over here in the UK, but among the folkies he is worshipped. Blinded from infancy, he was encouraged to pick up the guitar. Spent time as a street performer. Multi Grammy winner. Unique guitar style that many have tried to copy. Became a life time obsession of Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead
A couple of tracks off this album to check out. " Frankie and Johnny ", and a cover of George Gershwin's
" Summertime ".
The album came out in 1983, on Liberty record label. It's an American import in great shape from an artist that normally can only be got on vinyl with import costs.
