I am the original owner. I was a DJ at my small high school during the mid 60's and was on "the list" that received promotional records. Records were sent to me directly from the manufacturer and many were never played. After graduation, in the summer of 1965, I did not do any more DJing because I was at university and then a career in engineering. This record has not been played and has been carefully stored for over fifty years.
The Big Town Boys were a Canadian band from Toronto. This record was recorded in Canada and is earlier and much rarer than the Bell pressing. The Big Town Boys got some pretty good exposure and had some exciting experiences during their time. They were Sonny and Sher’s backup band at the Maple Leaf Gardens concert in Toronto. They did the Beach Boys tour while they were in Canada.
Mint. This record has never been played, since it arrived after I had stopped DJing. It comes in the original sleeve.
