Let us first start out by saying this record is POOR listening condition but is a big part of Cajun Music history from St. Landry Parish.  'The Swallows' side(we think it may actually be named for the Cajun surname of Soileau) is what is listed on the label as a Vocal One-Step. The other side is an Instrumental called 'The Rabbit Stole the Pumpkin'. We played both sides on our phonograph. Both side are have much, much background static but the vocal Swallows side is faintly hearable but the vocals CAN BE HEARD. The instrumental side is also has much static and is worse than the vocal flip-side. We only cleaned the record with a soft towel and water so if someone had a better cleaning system than this, the record may sound a little better. It appears very dull and probably has been plated many, many times in the last 90 years!
