Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Capitol/EMI Canadian pressing
Catalogue Number = SMAS-2653
I believe this is part of the final run of Canadian Capitol pressings (somewhere between 1983 and 1987 after the Purple centre labels). This pressing is known for having excellent mastering and audio quality. This vinyl has been exceptionally preserved showing no visible markings and sounds superb. There is no audible surface noise at all. The gatefold jacket is clean and does not have any ring wear however; it does have a sticker mark on the one side at the top and I can't quite tell if this has worn a small piece of the artwork or not. There is a corner crease on the open side of the jacket. It still looks fabulous though. You'd be hard pressed to find this issue with vinyl this clean. Sadly it does not include the original insert.

About LP Grading
M (Mint): Perfect condition with no audible or visible defects whatsoever. The record and cover/sleeve should be exactly as brand new. Most mint albums are sealed or possibly played once only.
NM (near mint): Almost mint but has one or two minor visible marks on the cover/sleeve or surface with sound quality remaining perfect.
EX (Excellent): Not quite perfect. There may a slight chance of minor deterioration in sound quality. The cover/sleeve may show slight wear.
VG (Very Good): The surface and cover/sleeve shows visible signs of wear (ring wear from age) due to the fact that it has been played on a regular basis. There will be some audible surface noise but it will not effect the listening experience.
G (Good): The sound quality has deteriorated due to having been played often. The cover/sleeve and surface will show considerable signs of wear and tear with some possible damage.
