Rare LP of Billie Holiday - All or Nothing at All (Verve V6-8329 -
stereo) Vintage black labels with MGM address and deep groove on both
sides - NOT a current re-issue! One of Billie's best for Verve also
features Ben Webster, Barney Kessel, Jimmy Rowles and others in an acknowledged masterpiece that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The
LP is in VG++ condition with a few marks and with most if not all of
the original shine - not quite for the audiophile, but still in
remarkable condition for an LP of this vintage - still, you may hear a
bit of noise on this one. The
David Stone-Martin (DSM) designed cover is in VG+/VG++ condition with
the original shrink wrap still intact after fifty-something years.
There is a bit of a clear tape repair inside the cover at the opening
and a cut corner (upper left). Not quite perfect, but how many of these
do you see anymore at any price?
