GUIDE TO GRADING Records are graded in accordance with the Record Collector rare record grading system. Plus & minus gradings have been used to give you a more precise idea of the condition. But a more accurate guide to grading is as follows:
VINYL Mint: Totally as new condition - just as it left the shop
EX: Minimal defects, maybe a few light marks that do not impair audio quality, the record will have had very minimal usage and has been looked after.
VG: Surface marks, light scratches which will not seriously impair listening, but may be clearly present during playing - but still an enjoyable record to listen to!
G: Visible or audible shortcomings, so dont expect much! I do not list records in this condition unless very rare.
COVER Mint: Totally as new condition - just as it left the shop.
EX: Will have seen very little action and will be very well looked after. Possibly some visible rubbing, slight discolouration of the white sections, small spine wear, small label marks. Very minimal creasing.
VG: Possible edge wear, seam splits, surface tears from sticker removal, heavier ring wear or laminate creases. Will still be a nice copy to enjoy!
G: Some cardboard to put the record in, and thats about it!, I do not list records in this condition unless very rare.
