Welcome to viewing the RARE 1966 FOURTH LABEL VARIATION of MEET THE BEATLES. As you can see by the photos, "THE FOURTH AND FINAL VARIATION CREDITS ONLY THE FIRST AND THIRD SONGS OF THE SECOND SIDE TO "ASCAP", WITH THE OTHER FOUR SONGS ON SIDE TWO AND ALL SONGS ON SIDE ONE CREDITED TO "BMI".
CAPITOL DOCUMENTS INDICATE THIS FINAL CHANGE WAS APPROVED ON 3/7/66.
THE MONO PRESSINGS OF THIS 1966 "BMI" DOMINATED LABEL ISSUES, ARE ABOUT AS SCARCE AS THE VERY FIRST ISSUES.
The record has been played once and there is GREAT & POWERFUL clarity, a real pleasure. Again, see photos of side one and two -- super clean and polished! Calling this condition of record 'NEAR MINT."
The cover has a couple stains and small bends at corners, some imperfection on sides, so 'GOOD-to-VG. Title is DARK BROWN, which should fall into category of "West Coast" = "6th cover variation. There is NO George martin credit on back of cover.
