Hi there. Up for sale is this original US pressing of Overkill's classic 1987 'Taking Over' LP on the Megaforce/ Atlantic label (81735-1). Gradings are as follows: Cover EX+ This is just short of NM based on the fact there are some very light marks along the edges and near the corners. Spine is very straight and has all its color. Some barely visible top ring wear on the back cover. No rips, creases, tears or writing. Inner sleeve VG There are some splits along the paper sleeve where the record has pressed against it. Vinyl EX- There is some surface noise present through quieter passages on the record, but thankfully this record doesn't have many of these passages - It's loud, raucous 80's American Thrash Metal at it's most fiery. There are no skips or jumps on this to interrupt play. Labels NM The labels are clean and colorful with no wrinkling or writing present - just like the day they were pressed. These gradings are given to try and guide the buyer as best as possible but if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Record was play tested using a Rega RP1 with MM cartridge set at 1.6g. Note, this record is only being sold to make way for an upgrade NM/NM copy. All records sold are sent in record mailer cartons and with the vinyl external to the cover. Thanks for looking.
