I am downsizing my record collection. I cannot completly guarantee the gradings I have given as I am not a record dealer but I doubt if you would be able to find another copy in much better condition.
The record plays without scratches or jumps and apart from the usual background I would say the sound quality is excellent although I am sure it would benefit from a professional clean.
1972 UK 1ST PRESS A3/B2 NM/NM Gatefold Yes - Close to the Edge - 1972 original UK 1st pressing LP on the dark green and orange (2nd issues were a lighter shade) 'Atlantic Record Label' serial number K50012, with laminated, textured gatefold sleeve, with the rare lyric inner sleeve - Matrix numbers K50012 A3 and K50012 B2 - Note there is no 'W' logo in the 3 o'clock position making this a genuine 1st pressing
