Welcome to my continuing sale of some of my rare vinyl that I will be listing this weekend. Next up is the impossibly rare 1964 issue of Joe Cocker's first ever release. I'll Cry Instead b/w Precious Words. As can be seen from the matrix numbers originally it was intended to be the opposite way round but the record company felt that the Beatles cover would be more popular so made that the "A" side instead. Released by Decca Records cat no. F.11974. Matrix stamps as shown in the photos. Vinyl has mild surface marks but generally EX, labels are spotlessly clean. Original company sleeve is in EX condition, mild creasing and tiny bit of fading in one corner. Sounds as good as the day it was released.
Extremely rare and almost never comes up for sale, especially in such nice condition.

I am conservatively under grading these listings, but all have been play tested using Sennheiser dynamic head phones and all items listed play through with no skips or jumps and minimal background noise, that does not interfere with the music at normal volumes. Any exceptions to this will be noted, the pictures were taken on a high definition camera that form part of the description so please check and ask if not sure. Please ask me about any individual item before making a purchase.
