This is a UK 1st Pink eye pressing of Traffic's "Mr, Fantasy", from 1967.
The gatefold cover has picked up some creases along the way, the spines hasve
also got wear, i've taken photos of the main points. The inner gatefold is
cleaner. Both labels are very clean, a few light spindle trails. The vinyl surfaces
look very clean in normal light, under strong light you can see a fair few light
hairlines and you'll notice a mark that follows the grooves towards the end of
track two, side two, which plays through without incident . The sound is
generally strong, there are very occasional light ticks, the odd pop, you can
hear light background between tracks, which generally disappears as soon as
the tracks start. I did notice a "pop" that repeats five times at the very start of
side one track one, and the very start of side two track one is a little noisy until
the track gets going and the vocals kick in.
So, in summary, not an audiophile's dream, not mint, but clear and bright sound
the vast majority of the time, no sign of background except in the very quietest
moments, and only intermittant in those, still a nice playing copy.
