The album that kicked off the San Francisco "Summer of Love" (even though it was released in February, 1967) and paved the way for all the other San Francisco psychedelic rock bands. Yes, there are albums more psychedelic than this, but nothing quite as iconic, and in my mind, the best album the Airplane ever put out. This is an original early MONO pressing with "Skip Spencer" Side A label credit. Original mono copies of this album definitely go for more than stereo copies.

Cover is VG with a good amount of edge wear and a 4" seam split at top. Vinyl is VG with some light surface marks and scratches but has been completely play-tested and sounds pretty good with no untoward incidents (a little surface noise here and there). I have seen a number of copies in lesser condition sold (not just listed) for a good deal more than we're asking for this one.
