Rare LP of John Coltrane - Standard Coltrane (Prestige 7243 - mono)
1960s Blue label edition with Bergenfield NJ address with Van Gelder on
both sides - NOT a current re-issue! Early '60s Coltrane masterpiece
also features Red Garland, Wilbur Hardin, Paul Chambers and Jimmy Cobb
in a rare classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in strong VG+ condition with some light marks and with much if not most or all of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but actually pretty good for an LP of this vintage - still, you may hear som noise. The cover is in VG+ condition with a bit of general age/shelf wear and a bit of clear tape on the top spine and lower seam - also a punch hole (upper left). NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. A solid copy of a rare classic.
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
