Our Two Skins is the new album from Sydney-via-Canowindra musician Gordi. The intimate yet sprawling eleven track offering was born from a period of inner turmoil for Gordi. Having finally completed her medical exams after years of painstaking study, and also in the midst of ending a safe, long-term relationship, she was grappling with a new truth in her identity and sexuality. At the same time, she was dealing with the devastating loss of her beloved grandma and family matriarch. It was a turbulent, unsettled and isolating period. Our Two Skins chronicles this intense chapter of Gordi's life, as she renegotiated who she was and how she fit into the world.

Recorded at her parents farm in Canowindra, with the help of Bon Iver production duo Chris Messina and  Zach Hanson, these original parts were teased out to add soundscape. If you listen closely to the album, you can hear elements from the farm shining through.
