Fly By Night, Rush's 1975 classic, introduced drummer extraordinaire Neil Peart to an adoring fan-base. The album did fairly well on all charts, eventually gaining platinum status for many markets, especially the U.S. and Canadian ones. The themes Peart explores on the album would be instrumental in preparation for the band's groundbreaking 1976 studio album 2112.
