Offered here is a vintage THE VOICE of FRANK SINATRA 78 RECORD SET. This release was the first studio album released on Columbia Records in 1946. The orchestra was under the direction of Axel Stordahl, and the amazing collection of popular standards on the four records are: You Go To My Head, I Don't Know Why (I Just Do), These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You), (I Don't Stand) A Ghost Of A Chance (With You), Why Shouldn't I, Try A Little Tenderness, Someone To Watch Over Me, and Paradise. The album went to Number One on the fledgling Billboard chart. It stayed at the top for seven weeks in 1946.
This set is in very good condition. There is some general wear to the album cover like rubbing and a small 1" split at the back lower edge. The records have marks and light scratches, but ALL play through with NO SKIPPING! Typical 78 hiss, but again, NO SKIPS! A truly great Sinatra collectible.
