GENESIS - debut single on Decca - THE SILENT SUN/THAT'S ME
Decca F 12735, released 1968
Rare debut single from Genesis, both sides self-penned, the A side sounding akin to 60s Bee Gees, the B side being the daring 'out there' track with some nice guitar, to me the stronger side.
The record grades visually at VG+, some hairlines and the odd scuff visible under bright light, nothing feelable, still a nice sheen to the vinyl. Plays well - slight crackle to both sides in the quiet sections, and crackles in the run-out.
