Gorillaz opted to do something else for their new release: Instead of making a finished album, they've released the tracks from Song Machine as "episodes" which feature a bevy of artists too long to list here. In some ways, this method is the perfect delivery system for Gorillaz songs: You get to appreciate the rush of collaborators and can get surprised every month when say, Peter Hook from Joy Division is suddenly on a song with Slowthai. This album condenses that mouth-dropping feeling into one set, and the fact that it's on sustainable recycled vinyl makes this a no-brainer pick up.
