Cover: NM Record: VG+

Grading Standard:

(MINT) perfect in every way.

(NEAR MINT) shiny, with novisible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on thelabel, nor can any “spindle marks” from someone trying to blindly put therecord on the turntable.
NM covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind.

(VERY GOOD+) show some slightsigns of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do notaffect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound areOK. Minor signs of handling such as marks around the center hole, but repeatedplaying has not misshapen the hole. There may be slight ring wear ordiscoloration, but barely noticeable.
VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minorseam wear or a split (less than one inch long). Also, a VG+ cover may have somedefacing, such as a cut-out marking.

(VERY GOOD) Groove wear isevident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noisewill not overpower the music otherwise.VG covers will have many signs ofhandling. Ring wear is obvious, but not overwhelming. Some creases might bevisible. Seam splitting more obvious, though it won’t be obvious upon looking.Writing or stamped.

(GOOD) still plays throughwithout skipping. Has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the labelis worn. A Good cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seamsplits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing.
