The amazing debut of vocalist Joe Williams on this Big Band classic in this auction. Count Basie struck gold by finding him that is a certainty and he and the orchestra are at their finest. Tracks such as Every Day I Have The Blues, Roll 'Em Pete, Please Send Me Someone To Love & Too Close For Corfort all appear on this must own Big Band classic from Count Basie. All fans of the man, Joe Williams or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very small, very light hairline on each side neither of which hampers play at all, plays well throughout, really not a stretch to even say a VG++ on the vinyl. The cover still in shrinkwrap and the original inner sleeve are both in excellent shape as well. A fantastic buy!!
