This is an excellent copy of the classic Beatles album "Revolver" which launched the change in the Beatles sound as they began to experiment with new instruments and moved towards psychedelia. The vinyl has little to no static at all between tracks and excellent, clear audio throughout. The only blemishes are a couple of surface marks on side 2 which do not affect the audio at all. There are no, skips or repeats at all throughout the album and no pops. The sleeve is in excellent condition with the only blemish being some discolouration on the edges of the cover. The original Emitex poly lined inner sleeve has been kept well and will be sent inside the cover. The LP will be housed in a separate poly lined inner sleeve. This is the second pressing as described on the Discogs, Yokono and Beatles Collection websites. Pressed on the old EMI Machine press in late 1966: rare version- only three Beatles albums have been found in this variation and they are A Hard Days Night, Rubber Soul and Revolver.
I am a collector of 1960's and Punk records and all the albums have been regularly cleaned and played on a Pioneer PL 12D and Rega turntable using both Ortofon 2M elliptical and rega carbon spherical styli so that I can give you an honest evaluation of sound quality and not just a visual inspection. I value the records I sell appropriately and so can be a little higher than others, but you can buy with confidence that the record will be as described and of a quality that will grace your turntable. All records will have a plastic protective cover and will be sent in a proper record mailer. Postage price reflects insurance for full price of album.
