Maria Callas ~ Madama Butterfly Orig Columbia 33CX 1296/98 UK 1950s Blue/Gold EX!

Please read everything and note that I visually grade my records.  I try to be honest and very detailed in my listings.  These records all come from my personal collection of which are mostly Near Mint and very well taken care of.  There may be some cosmetic flaws, but are usually minor.  I always recommend to clean your records with proper record cleaner or a VPI machine to eliminate dust and improve sound quality and the listening experience.  Enjoy!

This box set is in Excellent condition.  There are 3 LPs and all the records (vinyl) are very clean, glossy with only some light sleeve scuffs noticeable.  There are a few marks on one side that may grade the record as a VG+ but none of the records show any signs of scratches, mainly just a few sleeve marks and overall are in excellent or better condition.  I am only grading visually.

The outside box shows some signs of shelf wear but is still very colorful and complete with no true damage and very much intact.  I would grade the box as VG+ The cover is still attached by its paper hinge and opens well.  The most noticeable wear is along the bottom of the box.  The spine is in great shape.

The original sleeves are lined and printed in England with no tears or splits.  They are in marvelous shape.

The original cardboard inserts and rice paper protector sheets are still within the set  and there is an accompanying text booklet which is in excellent condition as well.

Overall the set is in very nice shape for its age.

Please see pictures for further detail and a better representation.

This recording is a nice addition to anyone’s opera collection
