Tex Ritter "Songs for Children" | 1948 Capitol Records DC-91 3x 78rpm Shellac Records in Book Album Shellac: VERY GOOD (VG) | Cover: GOOD PLUS (G+)
A great "Collector's Condition" book album from 1948 when Western's were a part of every child's world. The songs include the music as well as sound effects including animals. A great trip down memory lane... or just a nice pick-up for any collector of vintage albums & entertainment.

*****
We expertly clean vinyl when needed and we keep almost all records inside of protective sleeves if they do not have their original shrink-wrap present. ALL records come from a non-smoking environment.
Condition & Grading: We grade very similar to the Goldmine and Discogs standards of grading, and we offer full free returns if needed.  The conditions shown below are our General Grading Standards, and do not describe this exact album. The details listed MAY or MAY NOT be present on this record. Please see all the photos.
VINYL - VERY GOOD (VG): Imperfections are more noticable on the vinyl, potentially having lost a lot of the gloss shine, groove wear is visible to the naked eye, and light scratches can be felt. During playback, surface noise and some scratches may be audible, but will not overpower the music otherwise. There may be light marks or wear around the label, including stickers or personalization which will always be noted.
COVER - GOOD PLUS (G+) or GOOD (G): Similar to vinyl that has been graded as a G+ or G, it is often because the record is a collectible, and is considered "Collector's Condition". Covers may show significant signs of use, including rubbing, splitting, water or damp storage staining including texturing from dampness. Heavier scuffs and edge wear could be present, along with potential rips or tears. Please always look at the photos closely.
Specific Condition Notes About THIS Album: There is a pasted piece of paper in the front cover area that seems to have been covering up some previous personalization. The records do have a fair amount of wear, but none are cracked or chipped and they all play well.

Note: Please look at all photos as they are photos of this exact album (we do not use stock photos). However, keep in mind that some specs on the vinyl could be dust or otherwise, and not scratches or marks.
Shipping, Returns or Partial Refunds:
Vinyl records are packed SAFELY to ensure arrival in the condition described above. This includes appropriate record shipping boxes, postage care labels, firm packing as well as soft packing so your record is protected but cannot be bent or folded. However, we do offer returns in case the unthinkable somehow still happens.
Important Note On Returns: The album MUST be in the same condition it was sent to you in for a FULL return! For example, if you are sent a MINT shrink-wrapped album, and you open it and play it, then it would become a NEAR MINT (or similar) album and you would be refunded the NEAR MINT value of the record. The value of the graded record on return would follow standard percentage reductions found through most record retailers.
Partial Refunds: We make every effort to inspect and grade our records accurately. However, you may feel that the album you purchased was not graded correctly - but you still want to keep the album - we will certainly consider requests for a partial refund of the difference between the graded price and the price you paid. We want to be fair and honest with you and hope that you would do the same in such instances.
Shipping: Records are usually shipped via USPS Media Mail, which may take from 3 - 9 days depending on distance. If the album is a higher priced album, we will offer shipping such as USPS Priority Mail which insures the album up to $50.
