B.B. King - Blues in my Heart LP (1963, Crown) Mono 1st Press, Gray Label, VG+/VG+

Description: 1963 mono first pressing on Crown Records.  These 1960's pressings are a little bit better quality than the earlier Crowns that I've heard.  Has the gray label, which I think was released at the same time as the black/rainbow logo label.

Sleeve Condition: VG+, sleeve is in nice shape overall.  It has some discoloration in the top left and the words "SIDE 2" written in light pencil by the open edge.  The color is very nice though with just a touch of ring wear scuffing on the back which is otherwise pretty clean and white.  Overall, I'd call this VG+. It presents really well and it presents very well considering it's a Crown.  The original inner sleeve is gone and has been replaced by an archival inner sleeve.

Vinyl: VG+, Sound-wise, this one is better than most Crowns you are going to find.  There is certainly some light noise, but for the most part the music comes through clean and clear. Visually, the record looks good, no noticeable scuffs or scratches, but there is some hazing which is common on these due to lower quality vinyl.  Labels look great with no spindle marks and vinyl is very clean - can't have been played many times. Don't miss out on grabbing this one today!!
