This listing is for a brand new/sealed copy of PRELUDES: RARE AND UNRELEASED RECORDINGS by WARREN ZEVON on limited edition "Partly Cloudy Blue" double-vinyl. Pressed exclusively for Record Store Day 2021 and released as part of the first drop on June 12th, this collection of recordings was first discovered by Zevon's son, after his death in 2003 and then pared down to the best of the material from 126 initial tracks. A CD release followed in 2007, but this RSD Exclusive marks the first time Preludes has ever been released on vinyl. This beautiful collection contains all 16 rare and previously unreleased recordings, which include "Werewolves Of London" demo, along with an additional 6 tracks recorded live at Austin City Limits Studios on 12/3/99 for 107.1 KGSR Radio Austin's 9th anniversary concert, among them a cover of Steve Winwood's "Back In The Highlife." The second side of disc 2 contains a 5-part interview conducted by KGSR's Jody Denberg. Housed in a special slipcase with a "20-page perfect bound book," this release is part of a limited run of only 3,000 copies worldwide (only 1,800 of which were allocated to the United Stated)!
