Mega rare original 2 LP set of Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong - Porgy & Bess (Verve MGV-4011 - mono)  Original black label edition with deep groove on all four sides - NOT a current re-issue!  Spectacular session featuring Ella and Louis along with Russel Garcia conducting the Gershwin classic jazz opera.  Truly a classic that no serious jazz collector can be without. 

The LPs are in strong VG+ condition with some light marks that may make some noise and with most if not all of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but certainly not trashed either - but still, you may hear some noise on this one.  The cover is in strong VG+ condition with light general shelf/age wear.  The booklet bound inside the gatefold features artwork by David Stone Martin.  There is minor writing on the first page of the booklet  NO tape, NO stickers, NO stamps.  Not perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore in any condition?
