REBEL DEAN'S FIRST EVER RECORD!!!! FOR COLLECTORS EVERYWHERE!! THE RAREST REBEL DEAN 7" 45 RPM SINGLE IN TOTALLY MINT CONDITION FROM 1989!!!  'LOSE IF I STAY' b/w 'WENDY'
This rare record was recorded in 1989 at 'SENTINEL RECORDS' and the 'DEMOLITION STUDIO's , both in Cornwall and both long gone now. The record was released for the 1989 Xmas market due to the Xmas theme of the 'Lose if I stay' lyrics. A sad tale of a Father at home during Xmas time and when he puts his child to bed, the child asks "Where is Mummy?". His Mummy is having an affair hence the Father being trapped in a Lose If I Stay situation. If he stays he loses the wife, if he goes he loses the child. For a young 23 year old Rebel Dean to write such  a touching love song just shows why it was the beginning of a very long career.  Played over and over on BBC Radio Cornwall at the time and chosen for their Children in Need fundraising song, most of these records were sold out decades ago. Only a 1000 were pressed and only 200 limited edition copies had a picture sleeve. So this is one of the rare ones!! Both songs were written by Rebel and he used the members of his band 'Secret Society' to play the instruments at the time.  Full sleevenotes are on the back cover. There really are not many of these left around , so grab your copy now!! Its a piece of Rebel Dean history, and if youre a fan of this artist , then this is a must have!!!
Note: Rebel Dean is known primarily for being a Rock 'n' Roll artist. This record was an attempt to make him into a young pop artist, it is not Rock 'n' Roll!!!
