"The Bremen Town Musicians" is a Soviet musical hand-drawn cartoon of 1969, a musical fantasy based on the fairy tale of the Grimm brothers of the same name, which became popular in the USSR thanks to the music written by Gennady Gladkov with elements of rock and roll. In parallel with the release of the cartoon, a version on gramophone records was released, the total circulation of which reached 28 million in two years.
Oleg Anofriev voiced and sang songs of almost all cartoon characters, except for the Princess, the King and the Donkey.
Later, two sequels were released under the names "In the Footsteps of the Bremen Town Musicians" (1973) and "New Bremen Towns" (2000)
