Important: A Very Good (VG) grade does not mean a vinyl without flaws. That said VG records, which usually sell for much less than a NM record, are among the biggest bargains in record collecting because most of the "big money" goes for more perfect copies. For many listeners, a VG record is worth the money (unless you are totally anal about sound quality). Some play wear may be evident, as are light scratches with some deep enough to feel. When played, a VG record can have some surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages, deadwax between tracks, and during a song's intro and ending - but the noise should not overpower the music otherwise. VG vinyl records should NOT have any skips. They should play thru completely. A good cleaning can often improve a VG record audio - but you should ONLY use accepted cleaning methods.
