The BEATLES 45. USA Capitol 1983-87 Rainbow trim black label issue for reissue of LOVE ME DO (1963 Andy White version) and PS I LOVE YOU. It’s listed as Capitol B5189. First time issue number was 1982 anniversary Swirl labels, with Picture Sleeve. It was not the same number as 1965 Green Swirl Starline. Most of these Rainbow singles were released with Capitol Starline sleeves and with “Starline” on the labels. But not this one!! It came in common Gray Capitol Company Sleeve!! Common to the 1980s! This 1983 45 Black Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. This single is very shiny, few scuffs if any, very clean and plays thru great, near Unplayed! EXCELLENT!!! And labels are both clean and like new, no writing! A SUPER Collectable. Almost every US Capitol Beatles single came out on Rainbow labels. Cool looking, old-school back to the ‘60s. Both sides are of course still and forever MONO!! Original Studio tapes were lost, so it’s been reissued from pristine records ever since!! Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969!
