The Beatles Vinyl LP - Help! - PMC 1255 - Mono 1965 1st press
First pressing. August 6, 1965. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label.
Variation A. The original 1st labels used a Sans-Serif font and the * credit indicator for “I Need You” was placed to the right of the song title with a space between: I Need You *.
Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, stamped): YEX 549-2 2 CAP
Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, stamped): YEX 550-2 5 GOG
Vinyl is in very good condition with just some visible scratches or marks from use, - the sleeve is in very good condition with a few small marks , some signs of wear & tear and the remnants of a name written rear Emitex inner is taped up
Plays with crackle here and there, a few light tics between some tracks, a good listen all round
