CLAGGERS Chumley's Laughing Gear DJM UK 1971 Original.

Here's a great and very obscure LP that few seem to know about, involving Kaplan Kaye, Caleb Quaye and other luminaries more famously involved with Elton John. They apparently used downtime at the studio to record and when Dick James heard the results, instead of being annoyed at them for using free studio time, he insisted they release it. Musically this is fantastic melodic early 70s rock/pop with light progressive leanings, very well written, played and produced. Few seem to have heard it or even know about it, but I would imagine this will only go up in value when people do.

Outer Sleeve

Sleeve has some edge/corner wear and marks and ring wear on the front VG.




Gradings Used

M  I never use this grade for second hand records.

M- Almost as new, no noticeable marks.

EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound

VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.

VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.

G Quite heavily marked. Will not skip or stick, but will play with significant noise, repeating clicks etc.
