Offered here is a vintage 1969 early pressing of Rock Music legends Led Zeppelins rare iconic "Led Zeppelin II" album. "RL SS" etched in to vinyl with "ST-A-691671-1A" beneath etched into vinyl by label. Album retains original sleeve as issued.
From the collection of a noted New Orleans music critic and collector with some wear to covers and small splitting at cover edges top and bottom and record could use cleaning. We are not record experts and we've been told it has some scratches, but are listing it as is because it is the real McCoy.
"Led Zeppelin II is the second studio album by the English band , released on 22 October 1969 in the United States and on 31 October 1969 in the United Kingdom by . Recording sessions for the album took place at several locations in both the United Kingdom and North America from January to August 1969. The album's production was credited to the band's lead guitarist and songwriter , and it was also Led Zeppelin's first album on which served as engineer.
The album exhibited the band's evolving musical style of blues-derived material and their guitar -based sound. It has been described as the band's heaviest album. Six of the nine songs were written by the band, while the other three were reinterpretations of songs by and .
