This is part of a big auction of mainly Herald & Ember 45's I'm running this week. There are several bonus listings as well that I pulled for previous auctions, but didn't have time to list. A few really cool gems. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for an Atlantic auction starting 8/21 and mixed small label auction (Ace, Baton, Fire, Apollo & more) in early September. Here's the info on this item:
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Wynonie Harris - There's No Substitute for Love / A Tale of Woe
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1957
Notes: Another great 45 from Harris who really has a unique vocal style. Awesome sax work on this one. Has the white "Bio" promo labels.
Vinyl Condition: VG, vinyl is very nice and clean with just a couple of stray, faint marks - solid VG+. Plays great with no pops/skips/ticks, etc. Sounds great, with basically no background noise. Labels have some wear due to liquid exposure including some ink smearing and color transfer from an adjacent record. I'm going to bump this down to VG for the label wear.
Sleeve Condition: The sleeves on all three King records I'm selling are pretty much in the same condition: there are wrinkles and some light bends as well as a small pencil number in the top right corner, but no tears or major damage.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
